Job Summary

The individual will be responsible with other Master Data and Configuration Management Professionals for ensuring product configurations in the ERP system are accurate and maintained. He/she will also be responsible for proposing how to improve and use the system better to optimize all business processes as it relates to supply chain and interdepartmental partners. Continuous review and analysis of internal processes to ensure best practices are implemented throughout the entire supply chain from raw materials to finished goods.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Support process of ensuring new part numbers, BOMs and routings and other master data are created and maintained appropriately.
  • Support management processes of Obsolescence, PLC stages, and engineering changes along with the processes and systems supporting these procedures.
  • Analyze, coordinate, and review pricing and periodic standard cost rolls including auditing new parts and creating systems to ensure all planning, shipping and build parameters are maintained.
  • Maintain routings, comments, yields, prices on current Bill of Operations
  • Maintain part master setup
  • Analyze job variances and std cost problems and propose solutions to correct root cause
  • Trouble shoot daily activities with all supply chain personnel within the system (planners, buyers, shippers…)
  • Shipping/ Sales collaboration to meet required deadlines
  • Work with off-site warehouses and other logistics as necessary
  • Create metrics to measure effectiveness of current processes and use of the system and propose change when necessary
  • Support projects and teams to drive necessary systematic and process changes within the SCM org and outside, potentially taking lead on significant

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Experience – Minimum 5 years in systems and manufacturing
  • Experience with High Volume Manufacturing
  • Strong experience using Oracle and multiple ERP systems and understanding dependencies
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred, especially in an Operations role
  • Familiarity with BoM’s routes, master data usage in an ERP system

 

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in related field or appropriate work experience

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
