Position Overview:
As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing our global supply chain processes. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Intelligence, you'll lead efforts to enhance our supply chain systems, develop best practices, and support our business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to significant improvements in supply planning and process development. Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning: Develop and manage supply planning systems to support business goals. Lead the planning for finished goods, subassembly, and raw materials, ensuring accurate supply signals and inventory projections.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in supply chain processes and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Training & Development: Assess and address training needs for site supply chain teams. Facilitate onboarding and skill development for new team members.
Issue Resolution: Lead efforts to resolve supply chain issues, including chronic service problems and allocation challenges. Implement effective solutions to maintain supply chain integrity.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, external manufacturers, engineering, quality, customer service, and other stakeholders to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Data Management: Use advanced data management tools to analyze supply chain performance and support decision-making. Maintain accurate forecast roll-out dates and manage inventory targets.
Customer Service: Support customer service objectives by ensuring timely resolution of service issues and managing working capital effectively.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in inventory management and supply planning. Project management and production planning experience are preferred.
Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization, and supply planning tools. Knowledge of SAP ECC, R3, APO, and Business Warehouse is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., APICS-CPIM) are a plus.
Attributes: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently, and experience managing through ambiguity. Multilingual skills (Spanish or Mandarin) are preferred.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, with a valid passport.
