About this role

UHSM is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer ready to bring new solutions and ideas to use Salesforce and integrated systems to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support a rapidly growing organization. This role will work closely with the development team to develop solutions that support user requirements and drive key business decisions.

Candidates must reside in : California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Georgia, or Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within Salesforce Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Vlocity, Service Cloud and integrated systems and applications to support organization's objectives.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce Health Cloud using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Leverage Health Cloud’s out-of-the-box features and customize them according to the specific needs of the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications and integrated platforms.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain best practices for Salesforce development.
  • Work collaboratively with other developers on the team through solutioning and testing.
  • Communicate with end-users, Business Analyst, and Product Owner to understand business requirements and convert them into effective solutions, following Salesforce programming design best practices.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of the environment to detect deficiencies and security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions for improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Salesforce development, with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform.
  • 3+ years of experience working specifically with Salesforce Health Cloud, Vlocity and Omniscripts.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, governance, security, and compliance, particularly in healthcare environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I & II).
  • Salesforce Health Cloud Certification.
  • Marketing Cloud, Tableau, and Salesforce Shield experience.
  • Working knowledge of ETLs, Python, AWS, and SFTPs.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Jira and Copado experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with proven ability to identify solutions and quickly summarize recommendations and options.
  • Take direction, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Collaborative and proactive.
