Job Description

Job Title: Senior EDI Specialist

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior EDI Specialist with at least 5 years of experience to support the implementation of complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in coordinating integration discussions with third parties, developing and maintaining integration documentation, and overseeing comprehensive testing across multiple parties. A strong background in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), integration processes, and project management is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and maintain integration specifications, process flows, and related documentation to support successful implementation.

  • Liaise with third-party vendors and internal cross-functional teams (SMEs) to facilitate integration, testing, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.

  • Serve as an EDI Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide guidance on integration risks and remediation steps.

  • Plan, execute, and oversee integration testing, including environment management, issue tracking, and resolution with upstream and downstream parties.

  • Work closely with project leads to address project issues, mitigate risks, and ensure project success.

  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring timely completion.

  • Provide strong organizational support and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in integration implementation, with a focus on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

  • Experience working on local, state, or federal government projects is preferred.

  • Familiarity with State-Based Marketplaces and Health Insurance Carriers is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office 365, Excel, and Visio.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
