Job Description

Thinking Minds Inc.'s client seeks an experienced SAP FICO Analyst to join their team, responsible for leveraging the SAP platform to address complex Finance and Accounting challenges. The role is based in East Virginia and offers an excellent opportunity to work onsite in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As an SAP FICO Analyst, you will design, implement, maintain, and support application solutions that drive efficiency in Finance and Accounting operations. You'll play a key role in supporting end-users, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the SAP platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the desired performance levels of SAP system modifications and enhancements.
• Document system changes and train end-users for seamless adoption.
• Resolve production issues through troubleshooting and debugging.
• Collaborate with project teams and business users to enhance applications in areas such as:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Asset Management
• General Ledger
• Costing and Profitability Analysis
• Banking
• Support continuous functional improvements by identifying and implementing best practices in SAP solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Human Resources, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of SAP FI and MA module expertise.
• General understanding of SAP GL and Fixed Assets functionality.
• Experience with accounting processes and cost accounting workflows.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred: Project management experience, showcasing leadership and collaboration.
