Job description We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Licensed Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will work directly with patients to help them find eyewear that meets their vision correction needs and personal style preferences. You will also assist with fittings, adjustments, and repairs of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Our ideal candidate has a passion for eye care, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. Benefits * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Responsibilities * Perform all duties of Frame Stylist / Optical Sales. * Maintain inventory control of frames. * Verify glasses as to accuracy and quality. * Perform adjustments and repairs. * Supervise glasses order processing and patient notification system. * Maintain accessory inventory. * Notify patients when their glasses are ready and notify if glasses are delayed. * Check lab invoices for accuracy. * Monitor actions of stylists for accuracy. * Maintain lab equipment. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the lab and dispensing areas. * Answer phone calls from patients concerning the status of their glasses. * Perform other duties as assigned.
