Based out of Virginia Beach, VA, you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance; prepare scopes of work for subcontracts, conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets, and create technical reports documenting completed activities and results.

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Willingness to travel and perform field work up to 50-70% of the time (includes local travel in the Hampton Roads area as well as opportunities to travel outside of the region)
United States Citizenship
Ability to work in the Virginia Beach, VA area
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
Ability to obtain 40-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
