Employee Health Nurse - PRN Tuesdays and Fridays needed, other days as needed
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

The Associate Health Nurse is responsible of the overall daily operations and functions of Associate Health Services for the facility. Coordinates pre-employment appointments, performs nursing assessments on associates, coordinates reporting and follow up for employee exposures, maintains associate health records and provides reports internally and externally as required. Stays abreast of trends and best practices and updates policies and practices in order to promote a safe and healthy work force. Creates and promotes wellness initiatives for all associates.

QualificationsRequirements:
Education requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN State license. Bachelors degree preferred.
Work experience requirements: Minimum of 3 years RN experience required. Previous Employee/Occupational Health experience is preferred.
Required licenses/ certifications/courses Occupational Health Nurse certification (COHN) preferred.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of applicable OSHA and TJC regulations related to employee health issues. Planning and organizational skills and computer skills.
