Job Description

We are looking for a Legal E-Billing Specialist to join our team in Cedar Grove, New Jersey . This role involves managing all aspects of electronic billing for clients in a legal environment, ensuring compliance with legal billing guidelines, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced professional setting.

Requirements:

• Experience in one or more of the following platforms: AcuityLogic, Collaborati, Counsel Link, Milliman Datalytics-Defense, LegalX, Legal Exchange, Legal Software Solutions (LSS), Legal Tracker, Passport, and TyMetrix (T360).
• At least 1 year of experience in legal billing or a professional services environment.
• Ability to handle high volumes of tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee setup, updates, and maintenance of client-matter electronic billing, including timekeeper updates, rate adjustments, and new client onboarding.
• Submit, track, and resolve issues with invoices across various e-billing platforms.\
• Collaborate with billing teams, attorneys, and accounts receivable to resolve discrepancies, appeals, and manage budgets.
• Maintain accurate billing codes, monitor budgetary compliance, and generate detailed billing reports.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address billing inquiries efficiently.
