Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community is Seeking a CNA!
NOW OFFERING A $2,500 HIRING BONUS TO FULL-TIME POSITIONS WITH A FIRST INSTALLMENT OF $1,000
Full-Time Position; 12 hour day and evening shifts available ; rotating schedule so every other weekend is a three day weekend!
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and completion of Nursing Assistant Certification program.
Certificates/License/Registrations: Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in Washington state or eligible for certification within 120 days of employment; high school graduation or equivalent and current CPR training.
Summary: The restorative nursing assistant (RNA) provides rehabilitative services that allow the residents to maintain or improve their ADL's and mobility. The RNA works as a team player with the other members of the restorative nursing team, Rehab Department, and nursing team to assist the resident to function at their optimum level.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/NAC) are the front-line workers. You spend the most time with the residents and your detailed level of care and compassion can make or break someone's day! You not only help people recover from physical injuries or illnesses, but you help care for the whole person; mind, body and soul!

Documents care by means of electronic medical records software
Takes vital signs, weights, measuring intake and output
Assists with feeding residents and transports and escorts residents to and from activities
Performs transfers, lifting and positioning of residents to/from and in bed, chair, wheelchair and assists residents with the use of walkers, wheelchairs and canes
