This is a remote position.
The Azure Specialist role will be responsible for the Level 3 support of customer Azure landscape including project implementation ticket escalations and support services. The role requires that you possess the necessary selfdiscipline to take ownership and responsibility for delivering level 3 support and complex technical implementations on time with appropriate doentation and managing the operational handover. The role also requires that you coach and ist other members of the engineering team through technical leadership and guidance.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design deploy and manage Azurebased solutions for clients ensuring the scalability availability and security of their cloud environments.
Monitor and optimize Azure resources and services to maximize performance and costefficiency for clients cloud deployments.
Provide technical support and troubleing for Azurerelated issues leveraging Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Implement and manage Azure governance policies and security measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with the Managed Services team to develop and implement Azure migration and integration strategies for clients ensuring seamless transitions to the Azure cloud platform.
Conduct regular essments and audits of clients Azure environments to identify optimization opportunities cost savings and performance enhancements.
Stay informed about the latest Azure technologies updates and best practices and provide recommendations for leveraging new features and capabilities to enhance clients cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain comprehensive doentation related to clients Azure configurations processes and procedures.
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients Azurerelated inquiries issues and concerns delivering exceptional customer service and support.
Identify and scope client requirements and translate them to technology solutions.
ist with scoping and development of client proposals.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver customer projects.
Act as a mentor to the entire technical team.
Provide afterhours emergency support when required
Attain and maintain relevant qualifications and technical certifications.
Key Relationships/engagements
Build strong relationships with clients understanding their specific Azure requirements and providing customized solutions to meet their business objectives.
Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to provide technical expertise during the presales and postsales processes ensuring that proposed Azure solutions align with clients needs and expectations.
Work closely with the Managed Services team to integrate Azure solutions seamlessly and ensure efficient service delivery for clients.
Engage with Microsoft and other relevant partners to stay updated on the latest Azure technologies and tools exploring partnerships that can enhance our service offerings and capabilities.
Coordinate with the compliance and security teams to ensure that clients Azure deployments adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proven work experience in managing Azurebased solutions within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment preferred.
Expertise in Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines Azure Virtual Desktop Azure Active Directory Azure Networking and Azure Security Centre.
Other areas include:
o Azure IAAS PAAS experience
o Azure Networking (Networks Firewalls SDWAN ExpressRoute etc)
o Experience with Security (Security baselines hardening etc)
o Azure Landing zone design & deployment experience
o DevOps IaaC Terraform (Azure GCP AWS) Bicep Jenkins Deployments
o Github repos
o Public contributions
Experience in troubleing complex Azurerelated issues and implementing secure and scalable Azure deployments for clients.
Familiarity with Azure governance and security best practices including Azure Policy Azure Security Center and Azure Identity Management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal ss with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams to address Azurerelated challenges and requirements.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator ociate (minimum) Azure Network Engineer ociate and Azure Security Engineer ociate Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty preferred.
Strong ytical and problemsolving ss with a proactive approach to managing and optimizing Azure environments for clients.
Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet client needs and expectations.
