Job Summary

Our industrious company is seeking an organized clerical professional who aligns with our company goals to provide the best experience for our customers by applying integrity, dedication, and leadership. Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with Colaska policy.
  • Observe and participate with Goal Zero safety principles.
  • Answer main phone lines, route calls, and take messages.
  • Monitor, greet, and assist foot traffic at front counter.
  • Provide administrative support to Office Manager.
  • Receive, review, and submit certified payroll.
  • Provide general office support to include but not limited to sorting mail, maintaining office supplies, maintaining company databases, and running company errands.
  • Coordinate company sponsored events with other administrative staff.
  • Assist local HR with employment coordination, as needed.
  • Assure discreet handling of all company business.
  • Responsible for all other duties, roles and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Education

  • High school diploma is required - additional college such as an associate's or bachelor’s degree is very valuable.

Conditions of Employment

  • Available to work 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Drug free (includes marijuana); ability to pass a pre-employment urinalysis.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer service focus.
  • Detail oriented with all tasks.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Organizational abilities in the midst of chaotic interruptions.
  • Professional telephone and online meeting etiquette and customer service principles.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices preferred.
  • Prefer minimum one year work experience in an office environment.

Skills

  • Computer knowledge including knowledge of MS Office, network and internet applications. Other software as required. Able to troubleshoot basic technology issues at the direction of IT.
  • Able to communicate and patiently work well with diverse personalities.
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills with an ability to clearly communicate telephonically, in writing, and through online applications. Ability to speak clearly and concisely; read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • It is necessary to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Basic reasoning ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make sound and accurate judgments based on best available information.
  • Engaged listening skills.

Physical Requirements

 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

Work requires sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies. Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate and connect keyboards, calculators, telephones, copiers, facsimile machines and other office equipment as necessary. Visual acuity to read computerized documents and paper files. Hearing must be in normal range for telephone contacts. Interaction with the public on phone and in person is constant and interruptive. Work may be stressful at times and include pressing deadlines.
